The Daily Hitter
As the 2017 1st Year Player Draft approaches. Many young boys & families throughout the country are excited. To date, I personally have had 96 MLB Draft Picks come out of my program. Twenty-Six made it to the Big Leagues, and I've seen and heard a lot along the way. Been through it all. Nine 1st Rounders, and I watched every inch of Harper and Bryant's journey. I'm here today to fill you in on some truths about the upcoming MLB Draft.
The most distinct difference about Big League hitters is that they are able to make adjustments in one pitch. They have extremely developed "feel" for their swing, and are some of the most special athletes in the world. Their quick twitch muscles and hand-eye coordination is incredible. These attributes paired together allow them to audit their swing in between pitches and make an adjustment on the very next offering from the pitcher.
We believe you have to come from above. Loading up not back. We call loading Back " A Death Move". Your arms need to be bent at a 45 degree angle or so throughout the entire swing. Many instructors teach their players to "load back." Loading back is going to put your path even or under the ball and the ball is gonna go up.
